''De omnibus dubitandum est'' is a book written by Søren Kierkegaard (under the pseudonym Johannes Climacus), which translates to "everything must be doubted". It was not published until after his death.〔(''Johannes Climacus, or, De omnibus dubitandum est, and A sermon'' ). Translated, with an assessment by T. H. Croxall, Stanford University Press, 1958〕 The book portrays the existential consequences of assuming Cartesian doubt, the method of modern philosophy, to its last consequences.
